He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Kranz and Hazel Kranz (Ribby); and his siblings, Don, Max, Harry, Jim and Norma.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean (Bopp); and his children, Kurt Kranz (Barbara) of Mason and Rhonda Montoya (Patrick) of Ann Arbor. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
