He is survived by: his wife Lavern Thurman Hurley; his children, Jan Hurley Garcia (David), Nancy Hurley Palmer (Ray), Jeanna Sparks, James and David Hurley; and his stepdaughters, Paula Knowles and Peggy Morgan (Tom). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family; as well as life-long friends.
