Jo Ann Marie Herrick Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ann Marie Herrick of Mason, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Dalrymple and Dorothy Burk (Dawson); her children, Michael Martin Herrick and Lynn Howard Herrick; her siblings, Betty Bodell, Patricia Rae and Dallas Robert Dalrymple; and her close friend Roy Hawkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patsy Jo Dodge and Darlene Myra Goddard (Roy); her sister Joyce Crofts; and her stepsiblings, Emery "Butch" Burk and Deborah Cornell (Kathy). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She loved to donate stuffed animals to the fire department and police to give to children in need of comfort, a mission that meant so much to her that she would regularly walk the stuffed animals she collected, with her walker, over to Mason City Hall.
