He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold C. Mulvany and Adelene Mulvany; his sister Joan Horn (Donald); and his wife Valerie. He is survived by: his sister Linda Francis; his children, Cary Mulvany (Kathy), Brenda Welling (Timothy) and Cheryl Gandhi (Hasand); his grandchildren, Spencer Welling (Breana), Kyle Mulvany (Carly), Nicholas Gandhi, Bradley Welling, Shea Mulvany, Tara Gandhi and Blake Welling; and his great grandchild Theodore James Welling.
