With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Julian Starzec of Mason, Michigan, born in Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on April 10, 2021 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Starzec and Julia Starzec; his son James; his great grandchild Dahlia; his wife Dorothy Starzec (Ditty); and his siblings, Victoria, Joseph, John, Stanley, Jean and June.

He is survived by: his children, Dorothy Forche (Robert) of Columbus, OH, Fran Starzec (Cindy) of Mason, MI, Stan Starzec of Ypsilanti Township and John Starzec (Pat) of Ypsilanti Township; his grandchildren, Rob Forche (Allison), Ryan Forche, Jon Forche, Robert Starzec, Julia Clark (Jerry), Nicholas Starzec, James Starzec, Francis Starzec, Shawna Brooks (Adam) and Helena Starzec; and his great grandchildren, Ashley, Dylan, Tristan, Jared, Hayden, Adelyn, Annalee, Deacon, Birdie, Jason, Atlas and Alden.

Francis Julian Starzec, formerly of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Fort Myers, Florida, died peacefully at his home in Mason, Michigan, at age 102, due to a severe reaction to the Covid Vaccine.
