He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes Jacot (Ellis); his parents, Frank R. Jacot and Viola Jacot (Benson); his siblings, Kenneth Jacot and Clara Ramsay (Jacot); and his great grandchild Hazel Duane.

He is survived by: his children, David Jacot (Yvonne), Donna Lawson (Carl) and Denise Goveia (Patrick); his sister-in-law Betty Jacot; and his grandchildren, Renee Jacot, Jay Jacot, Nathan Lawson, Meghan Duane (Lawson), Corey Turner (Burgess) and Crista Cripe (Burgess).
