It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Lester Haueter Sr. (Mason, Michigan), who passed away on June 30, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Haueter and Lois Haueter; his children, Cynthia Calhoun, Jeannine Haueter (Steve), Donald Jr. Haueter (Michelle) and Leslie Lee (James); his wife Patricia Jo Sweet; and his children, Thomas Kaiser (Penny), Kelli Hart (Robert), Kip Kaiser (Tina) and Dan Sweet (Katrice). He was also cherished by 28 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, that people make donations in support of the Capital Area Humane Society, 7095 W. Grand River Ave., Lansing, MI 48906 in honor of their beloved dog, Cody.
