He was predeceased by: his wife Doris; and his brother Dennis. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brenna, Heather Pitlanish, Timothy and Bella Patterson; his sister Sharron Hargis; his friend Jan Dietrich; his adoptive daughters, Jamie Willard-Smith, Jo Gifford and Rebecca Green; and his niece-in-law Kelly Reno. He is also survived by many friends, and animals.
