He is survived by: his wife Nancy; and his children, Katharine Jo Thomas, Susan Janik (Stanley), Anne Molter (Jerry), Russell Christy Jr (Denise) and Connie Leestma (Mark). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
