He was predeceased by: his grandmother Rona; his uncle Adam Schweihofer; and his daughter Maggie (Jasperg). He is survived by: his parents, Robert Rankin (Bob) and Nicole Rankin (Schweihofer); his sister Karleigh; his grandparents, Ann, Gerald Schweihofer, Bob and Sue Rankin; and his aunts and uncles, Clint (Michelle Seidl), Ladawn (Michael Barrett), Connor Rankin, Carmen Rankin Angela (Jason Leshuk), Joseph (Shannon Vince) and Rachel Vince. He is also survived by many loving cousins, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the wishes of the family.
