He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Heeke and Gertrude Heeke; his siblings, Denise Young, Norman Heeke and Jerry Heeke; his nieces, Michelle Gates and LeAnn Stroman; his nephew William Heeke; and his siblings-in-law, David Arnett, Raymond Marlatt (Barbara) and Marilynn Howard (Tony).
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Marlatt; his nieces and nephews, Lisa Young (Carl Myers), Mary Paul Young, Karl Heeke, Jonathon Heeke (Denise), Thomas Heeke (Josie), Elizabeth Stanton (Cecile), Donald Heeke (Laura), Brian Heeke (Anita), Carole Coomer (Michael), Jennifer Webb (Rob), Jane Smith (Bruce), Cathy Howard and Helen Wright; and his sister-in-law Ruth Arnett.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home (1720 Elk St, Port Huron, MI 48060). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mt. Hope Catholic Cemetery (1209 Krafft Rd, Port Huron, MI 48060).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Christopher Catholic Church.
