She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Harkleroad and Elsie Harkleroad; her brothers, Craig and Bob; and her daughter Jill.
She is survived by: her husband Grover Gates; her sisters, Debbie (Ray) and Joy; her grandchildren, Kaitlin (Michael), Tatiana, Derek and Ben; and her great grandchildren, Isabel, Eliza, Haidyn, Reagan, Morgan, Amina, Callum, Damian and Remi.
