She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence Rands and Regina Rands; her daughter Laura Kelch (Darwin); her son-in-law Daniel Carolan; and her brothers, Larry and Bill Rands.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Bixler (Stacy), Jean Carolan, James Bixler (Helen) and Ann Taylor (David); and her brother Patrick Rands (Sandy). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marysville Funeral Home (1200 Michigan Ave, Marysville, MI 48040). The lying in state was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Christopher Catholic Church (1000 Michigan Ave, Marysville, MI 48040). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A rosary was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 7:30 PM.
