She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Engle and Marian Engle. She is survived by: her husband Richard L. Mertz; her son Gary L. McIntyre; her stepson Richard Mertz; and her grandchildren, Lisa, Michael and Lauren.
Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.Arrangements are by the Marysville Funeral Home.
