He is survived by: his wife Nancy Melling; his children, Jeff Hischke (Debbie), David Hischke (Debbie) and Dawn Hischke (Ted Coons); his grandchildren, Allison Hischke, Christopher Hischke (Emma), Samantha McArt, Timothy Hischke, Tessa Penzien (Zach) and Melissa Bratton; his great grandchildren, Lyra, Emilia Hischke, Logan, Landon McArt, Nathaniel, Michaela, Caroline DeLuna, Liliana Penzien and Chloe Hischke; his siblings, Dan Hischke (Debbie) and Loretta Zucchero (Frederick "Rick"); and his brother-in-law Roy Packard.
Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Navy.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Christopher Catholic Church or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
