He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence O'Brien and Emily O'Brien; his son John O'Brien; his son-in-law Brian Sullivan; and his siblings, Frank O'Brien, Mary Zambelli and Barb Harrison.
He is survived by: his children, Julia Sullivan, Patty (Jeff Troy), David (Joyce O'Brien) and Dan (Luz O'Brien); his grandchildren, Tim Troy (Kelly), Emily Sullivan (Markus), Jeremy Troy (Allison), Brian Sullivan (Ambrosia), Kristen Boxberger (Brandon), Jordy, Arron, Cameron (Rachel), Donavan and Charlie O'Brien; his great grandchildren, Brendan, Parker, Jonathon and Pierson; and also Donna Swarbrick. He is also survived by great grandchild expected soon; and many nieces and nephews.
