He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Patterson and Irene Patterson (Moutoux); and his brother Gerald (Mary). He is survived by: his children, Robert Patterson (Caroline) of Columbus, Renee McLean Geertsen (Peter) of Ingersol and Ontario; his stepchildren, Bill Egnor (Liz), Libby Hogben (Matthew) and Tara Egnor; his grandchildren, Jordan, Hailey, Emmanul, Ian and Alec; and his nieces, Michele Perez and Tammy Forstner.
