We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2018, at the age of 80, Edith I Purkiss of Marysville, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis and Ezra Fye Sr.; and her siblings, Maryann Verlinde, Patricia Friedland, Charles Fye, Margaret Hurd, Wayne Fye and Doreen Gould.
She is survived by: her husband Leland "Butch"; her children, Dena Cline-Kornik (James Kornik), Robert Purkiss and Cheryl Scott; her grandchildren, Nathan Cline (Alicia), Trever Etminan (Paiam), Erica Capadagli, William, Sara Purkiss, Amber, Cole and Donald Sedwick; her brother Ezra J. Fye (Tammy); her sister-in-law Jackie Fye; and her friend Kathy Fletcher. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Maryann Verlinde, Patricia Friedland, Charles Fye, Margaret Hurd, Wayne Fye and Doreen Gould.Private services will be held.Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.Memorial contributions may be made to charity of your choice.
