He was predeceased by: his father Dwinal Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Donny Johnson (Jocelyn), Ryan Johnson, Paige Millikin (Josh) and Kristy Swope (Matt); his grandchildren, Laylah, Xavier, Melina, Josie and Jax (Karen); his mother Helen Johnson (Russell Dickinson); his sister Tina Bonner (Brett); and his nephews, Gage and Brett. He is also survived by friends, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He said "you don't remember loaning me money do you." I honestly didn't, as it was many years ago but Donny never forgot. That speaks to the true character of the man.”
