He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Martin and Mary Martin; his wife Madeline Klaas; his daughter Julie Dickinson; his grandson Joshua Martin; his brother David Martin; and his siblings-in-law, Francis "Bud" Heisler, Dave Goss, Larry Beldock, Carl Klaas (Jean) and Marilyn McDonald (Ray).
He is survived by: his children, Mary Martin-Ashford (John Ashford), Donald Martin (Lisa), Todd Martin (Melinda), Sam Martin (Jennifer) and Matthew Martin (Jennifer Sparks-Martin); his son-in-law Scott Dickinson; his sisters, Gloria Cafferty (Jim), Thelma Heisler, Wanda Goss and Mary Quinlan (Tom); and his sisters-in-law, Cathy Martin, Emily Boden (Tom) and Esther Beldock. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
