He was predeceased by: his parents, George Banyas and Ruth Banyas; his son Michael Banyas; and his sister Joyce Hill. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Ellis and P. J. Banyas; his close friend Jane Banyas; his granddaughters, Janelle Ellis and Nicole Ellis (Charlie Head); and his great grandchildren, Hadleigh, Gianna and Charlotte.
