He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Dale and Bettylou Ida Keller; his former wife Linda Ann Keller; his brothers, Jerry Withun and Darrell "Butch" Withun; and his son Richard Becker.
He is survived by: his husband Christopher Keller; his sister Laurie Murphy (Terry); and his children, Marijo Keller, Jerry Keller, John Keller (Roxanne), James Keller (Melinda), William Keller, Melissa Keller, Ira Keller (Lisa), Dale Keller II, Megan Freeman (Chuck) and Beth Rady. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
