She was predeceased by: her father Percivil Pereira. She is survived by: her children, Guy Newell, Eric Newell, Helen Marino, Tina Newell, Heather Newell, Gretchen Gray and Ariel Heron; and her sister Kathleen Hollingsworth. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
Charlotte loved wildlife, was a very generous person and enjoying giving to charity. In that spirit, memorial donations may be made to The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee at http://www.elephants.com.
