He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul McLaughlin and Mabel McLaughlin (Weber); his wife Mary Shipley-Ayers; and his brother Mike. He is survived by: his sons, Bill McLaughlin (Kris) of Allegan and Bob McLaughlin of Martin; his stepdaughters, Kelley DePauw (Rick) and Lisa McBride; his grandson Kent McLaughlin (Lydia); and his siblings, Barney McLaughlin (Carol) and Terry Hudson.
