The memory of Eileen Devota of Martin, Michigan, born in Cass City, Michigan, who passed away on March 18, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur C. Albert and Kathryn Albert; her daughter Julie Kay Jamick (Devota); her husband Pat; her grandson Frank Burgess Jr.; her brother Bob; and her in-laws, Arthur Ruddy, Joe, Mary Devota, Dick Young, Larry and Betty Devota.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Leo Devota (Angie), Jacqueline Marie Burgess (Devota) and Andrew Arthur Devota (Jane); her family Christian; her children, Jacqui Burgess (Frank) and Harvey Jamick; her grandchildren, Justine Schomaker (Kent), Joseph Jamick (Chaise), Christopher Jamick (Lauren), Allan Jamick, Amanda Lorencz (Jesse), Clara Devota and Arthur Devota; her great grandchildren, Ira Lorenz and Baby Schomaker; her siblings, Janet Ruddy, Lavern (Mary Albert), Rose Albert, Ed (Ann Albert), Jim (Jan Albert) and Leo (Chris Albert); and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Young.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Mcgeehan Funeral Homes - Martin Chapel (316 W Broad St, Chesaning, MI 48616). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Michael Catholic Church of Maple Grove (17994 Lincoln Rd, New Lothrop, MI 48460).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Michael's Parish.
