He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Griffus and Beryl Griffus (Bates); and his siblings, Raymond Griffus and Margaet Spencer (Dale). He is survived by: his siblings, Claudia Kienitz (Steve) of Chesaning, Bethany Jacobs (Dale) of Bad Axe and David Griffus (Edith) of Owosso; and also Jack. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews as well as close friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mcgeehan Funeral Homes - Martin Chapel (316 W Broad St, Chesaning, MI 48616). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested to the American Diabetes Association in Doug's name.
