With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dona Gilson (Martin, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dona has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Miller and Pearl Miller (Cole); and her brother Robert H. Miller. She is survived by: her husband Everett "Gil" Gilson; her children, Mark Gilson (Doreen), Tanya Griffioen (Tim) and Jodie Gilson (Sherri); and her brother Harold "Butch" Miller. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Martin Reformed Church (1073 W Allegan St, Martin, MI 49070). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
