With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chuck Wendling of Martin, Michigan, who passed away on December 4, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Wendling and Marcella Wendling (Hebeler); his brothers, Walter and Vince Wendling; his in-laws, Jean Wendling and Bernie Bauman; his parents-in-law, Harold and Beatrice Short; and his brothers-in-law, Mervin (Joan), Edward, Marcus Short and Tom Kish.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Short; his children, Carrie Broughton, Suzanne Chappelle (Jeff), Tricia Colbeck (Tim), Randall Wendling (Bobbi) and Mitchell Wendling (Lisa); his siblings, Donald Wendling, Maurice Wendling, Kenneth Wendling (Vi), Joan Skeltis (Mike), Mary Bauman, Fredrick Wendling (Katie) and Raymond Wendling (Karen); and his sisters-in-law, Linda Wendling, Marsha, Carolyn Kish and Ginny Short. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandsons.
