Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Roland Glenn Winter of Marshall, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 98, on September 24, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Winter and Eva Winter (Parker); his wife Beulah Lucille Winter; his siblings, Richard Winter, Russell Winter, Bernadine Bishop and Virginia Spear; and his son-in-law Marshall Bishop (Vera).
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Bishop of Portage and Rebecca Winter of Meridian, Idaho; and his grandchildren, Eric Bishop (Holly) of Stockton Springs, Kathryn Hsu-Bishop (Jen) of Kalamazoo, Amy Pettinger (Craig) of Aumsville, Jenny Hamblin (Mitch Maciona) of Boise and Andrew Hamblin (Anna Goodman) of Portland, Oregon. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Marshall United Methodist Church (721 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068).
