She was predeceased by: her father Douglas Hummel; and her grandfathers, Richard W. Gregerson and Keith R. Hummel. She is survived by: her mother Robin Smith of Marshall; her children, Chris J. Wilson of Marshall and Katie Lee Wilson of Albion; her grandmothers, Eva Gregerson of Grand Rapids and Irene "Mimi" Nieboer (Tony) of Kalamazoo; and her close friend Stacey Dew of Marshall. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
