He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Beals Mershon (Beals) and Howard Milton Mershon. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Lippert; his children, Nancy Sutherland (Stuart) and Alan Mershon (Connie); his brothers, Daniel Mershon (Trudy) and Timothy Mershon (Faye); and his granddaughters, Abigail Mershon (Brent Smith) and Liana Sutherland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a great-niece and several great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mobile Meals of Marshall, First Presbyterian Church of Marshall, or Glenn Arbor Hospice.
