She was predeceased by: her parents, William G. VanValkenburg and Hazel L. VanValkenburg (Biddix); and her spouse Thoams R. Sims. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Sims and Matthew Sims (Nicki); her grandchildren, Braxton Sims and Maci Martens; her siblings, Linda Dudonis and William VanValkenburg; and her nieces and nephews, LeeAnn Howard, Lynn Colley (Bryon), Pamela Cupp (Jason), Becky Rinck and Scott Rinck.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Marshall (723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068).
