She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Newsome and Molly Newsome (Newsome); her siblings, Ada Marie Newsome, Feddie Newsome, Mollie Mae Newsome and Beatrice Hamilton; her foster sister Spicy McPeek; her sister-in-law Emily Newsome; and her nephew Gordon Newsome.
She is survived by: her goddaughter Pamela Hamilton of Marshall; her brother-in-law Palmer Hamilton of Marshall; and also Brett.
