She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Royer and Evelyn Royer (Mahrle); her husband Lewis Mercer; her sister Martha Guile; and her son Daniel George.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Mercer-Tachick (John); her grandchildren, Addison and Jacob Tachick; her siblings, Helen "Suzie" Leboeuf, Connie Hunter, Sandy Hall and Ron Guile; and her cousins, Shirley Baker and Mary Tolf.
