He is survived by: his parents, Karen Sue Burgess and Jimmie Ray Ward; his wife Michelle Lee Ward; his daughter Samantha Sue Gipson; his grandchildren, Adalynn Faye Taylor and Kayleigh Eva Irene Taylor; his brother Ray Ward; his father-in-law John; his stepmother Val Ward; his grandmother Avonelle Cornell; his sister-in-law Melissa Lynn Faurot (Robert Owen); his nieces, Ashley Megan Pollard (Joshua David) and Maryanne Elizabeth Morgan-Ward; and his nephew Matthew Soltis. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the family to help with final expenses.
