She is survived by: her mother Jan McCowan; her children, Leif and Karley; her siblings, David Meinert, Jennifer McCowan-Knapper and Courtney Shorter (Chad); her nieces and nephews, Bailey, Brendan, Jaelon, Landon and Michael; and also Austin Widemon.
