He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lawler and Ethelwyn Lawler (Seymour); and his brother Victor Lawler. He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Miller; his sons, Charles Lawler (Karen) of Okemos and Timothy Lawler (Robin) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Stephen Lawler and Mackenzie Lawler; and his siblings, Thomas Lawler (Carole) of Cleveland, Ohio and Marion Muschong (Frank) of Warren.
