He is survived by: his son James Erlenbach Leonard of Jackson, MI; his sister Johanna Leonard Kirkwood of Ithaca, NY; his parents, James Montrose and Helene Kwis Leonard; his children, Louis M. Leonard (Julianne) of Ann Arbor, MI and Catherine L. Timberlake (Bruce) of Chelsea, MI; and his grandchildren, Molly Hefka, James Hefka of Ann Arbor, MI, Audrey Hefka, Emily Hefka, Elizabeth Hefka of Chelsea, MI and Louise Hefka of Jackson, MI.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Brass Band of Battle Creek and the Marshall Rotary.
