We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2020, at the age of 82, George Dornton (Marshall, Michigan), born in Battle Creek, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dornton and Melissa Dornton (Wardell); and his siblings, Lisetta Barney and Charles Dornton. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Peterson; his daughters, Judi Bird (Michael) of Ceresco and Jackie Bruce (Thomas) of Manistee; his grandchildren, Jason Slayton, Trevor Slayton, Hannah Bruce, Erin Bruce and Tucker Bruce; his stepgranddaughter Brandi Ledbetter (Ryan); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Greyson Ledbetter and Olivia Ledbetter.
