He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald J. Koon and Grace Koon (Stevens); and his wife Shirley Marie Koon. He is survived by: his sons, Gerald Koon (Jennifer) of Parma and Joseph Koon (Sharon) of Centre, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Julianne Woods (Jason) of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Joshua Koon (Kristen) of Sammamish, Washington, James Koon (Lucinda) of Plainville, Georgia, Joseph Koon (Dedra Smith) of Gadsden and David Maloney (Heather) of Gibbstown.
