He is survived by: his children, Sherri Haist (David) of Battle Creek and James "Jaime" Beattie (Michelle Sarles) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Zack Mansfield, Karlie Mansfield (Tim Ripley), Sara Beattie and Lauren Beattie; his brother Alfred "Curly"; and his sister-in-law Heidi Beattie of Marshall. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
