He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Weers and Vivian Weers (Nelson); and his brother Paul Weers. He is survived by: his wife Gail Weers; his son Denis Weers (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Brayden, Samantha and Kaydence; and his siblings, Edward Weers (Tonja), Mary Jo Manhart (Paul), Larry Weers (Karen), Cheryl Scripter (Edgar), Alice Blare (Bernie), William Walters (Lisa) and Barbara Walters.
A memorial gathering will take place from 4-7pm on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services 723 US Hwy 27 N Marshall MI 49068. **Due to COVID-19 please use the marked entrances and exits.** A burial of cremated remains will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery with Military Honors at a later date once the restrictions have been lifted.
