He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Patton and Eulah Patton (Keller); and his brother Floyd Patton. He is survived by: his wife Shirley C. "Chris" Evans; his sons, D. L. Patton (Diana), Todd Patton (Jennifer) and Shawn Patton (Jamie); his grandchildren, Tori Baxter (Joe), Zak Patton (Holly), Brooklyn Patton, Aleksi Patton, Colin McGinnis, Evan Patton, Connor McGinnis, Landon Patton and Breyah Patton; his great grandchild Gracelyn Baxter; and his sister Tammy Dollaway.
