It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene E. Coats (Marshall, Michigan), who passed away on December 26, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her children, Phyllis Sharp, Mary Coats and Jane Cunningham; her great grandchild Michael Farmer; and her siblings, Betty Faulkner, Marian Heisler, Margaret Miller, Mildred Foote, Mary Lou Duckham, Sandra Place and Laverne Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Andy Weaver (Linda) of Edgerton, Debra Farmer (Rich Shilling) of Olivet, Robert Coats (Tina Galusha) of Olivet, Larry Coats of Lansing and Paul Coats (Sue) of Bellevue; her significant other Jim Harris; and her sisters, Shirley Lawler and Dorothy Stults. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
