He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johnny Shepherd and Lilly Shepherd (Prater); his wife Betty Ellen Barnes; his children, Brian Shepherd (Cynde) of Altoona, Glenda Metz (Todd) of Charlotte and Jennifer Shepherd of Sherwood; his grandchildren, Heather Neeper (Nathan), Betty Culp (John), Todd Jr. Metz (Katie), Grace Morris (Duane), Jacki Barrett, Mindy Stolk, Cody Shepherd (Brooke), Dustin Shepherd (Hailey), Christopher Reincke, Adam Reincke (Nikki) and Josh Shepherd; his great grandchildren, Janice, Emily, Josh, Aidan, Keira, Ellie, Kye, Bodie, Destiny, Gabby, Payton, Angel, Makenzie, Jaxson and Cecelia; his sister Easter Bartley (J. D.); and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Bennett and Judy Barnes. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
