He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Aurelio Arizmendi Mendoza and Marie; his wife Ruby Shepherd; his children, Sarita Parlin (Dale) of Athens, Arturo Arizmendi (Cindy) of Ceresco, Laurie Gladstone (Tony) of Marshall and Therese Pattinson (Steve) of Santa Fe, NM; his grandchildren, Amber Arizmendi of Marshall, Miranda Bolton (Ryan) of Marshall, Natalia Embry of Marshall, Lindsey Hughes (Kyle) of Marshall, Lauren Arizmendi of Kalamazoo, Andrew Arizmendi (Jamie) of Battle Creek, Audra Jennings (Jon) of Marshall, Jacob Baker of Kalamazoo, Stephen Pattinson, Jr. of Santa Fe, NM, Reid Arizmendi of Arvada, Amber Leigh Arizmendi of Grand Rapids and Clifford Pattinson of Chenega, AK; and his siblings, Sara Arizmendi Mejia, Yolanda Nava Mejia, Maria Guadalupe Arizmendi Mejia, Elena Arizmendi Mejia and Miguel Arizmendi Mejia. He was also cherished by brothers and sisters in law; and numerous nieces an nephews.
