He is survived by: his children, Shawn Carney (Dan) of Marshall, Fran McElhenie (Ken) of Battle Creek and Sue Burkwalt of Marshall; his grandchildren, Gerrie, Nicky Adkins, Brandon McElhenie (Sara), Taylor Gordier (Mark) and Ashley Stap (Nic); and his great grandchildren, Josslyn, Brantley, Preston and Anna.
