It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Shepherd (Marshall, Michigan), born in Logan, West Virginia, who passed away on March 31, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion and Jackson (Gilliam) of Tennessee; her husband Tommy Shepherd; and her children, Thomas Shepherd and Frances Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Glen Shepherd (Carol) of Marshall, Lula Cross of Athens and Brenda Smith (Norman) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Jamie Palmer, Heather McKinney, Cory Shepherd, Allison Goodman, Sabrina Smith, Barbara Hemker, Heidi Williams, Michelle Danke, Janice Pritchard and Christine Rice; and her siblings, Lucille Workman, Herschel Jackson, Geneva Ashby and Juanita Stubbs. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
