He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Armiga and Cecilia Armiga (Montcalm); his brother Morris Armiga; his close friend Gary Narhi; and his grandson Tysen Benz.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles Benz (Amanda) of Mount Pleasant and Raymond Benz of Marquette; his grandchildren, Jordan Benz of Marquette, Andraes Benz of Marquette and Kayleonna Solberg of Baraga; and his great grandchildren, Victoria Solberg and Mariah Solberg.
