He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Ziegner (Jane) and June Ziegner (Murray); his wife Mary Jo (Butler); and his son Jeffrey Ziegner. He is survived by: his children, David Ziegner (Diane) of Marquette, Michigan and Elizabeth Saup (Peter) of Albion, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Peter, Molly Saup, Eliane' and Josef Ziegner. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
